The February Round-Up
From charity bake sales to crying along to Bohemian Rhapsody on my long haul flight. Looking back at February you’ve been a bit of a blur. It’s flown by in contrast to January which is only giving me more incentive to make the most of every day in March.
Being back in New York was such a dream. It had been 3 years since we travelled back and it only made me want to visit more often… alas it’s not a cheap place to visit so I’m not sure how often I’ll be in town, but a girl can dream. I loved staying in Brooklyn, it was nice to have a more relaxed NYC experience, although it might be partially down to the milder February temperatures.
We finally got our windows replaced; 3 windows in our bedroom which didn’t close properly and welcomed all the wind and rain. We were promised they would be replaced before Christmas and finally this month they were. This means saving money on heating and no draft tickling our foreheads throughout the night. Winning!
Oh dear, where did my habit tracking go? Out the bloody window thats where! I’m determined to get back on track this month as I’m one of those people who tends to avoids structure but also thrives under routine. Something I’m constantly working towards!
I had created some new designs for the shop, but unfortunately I had to go back and forth with my printers over a few issues. Watch this space!
IN WITH THE NEW
A pretty exciting parcel arrived from Dame, exciting if your a woman who’s conscious of her plastic waste and also her health. I backed the product on kickstarter in 2018 and I am now the proud owner of the worlds first reusable tampon applicator. I also highly recommend their organic tampons - did you know that most brands can contain bleach, plastics, synthetics, toxins and dyes?
